I have a sad sad story

I found a baby python
in the woods behind my home

underneath my bed

dreaming of the day
of walking into show and tell

But I made a big mistake

The vet just checked
It is confirmed

By now he (11)____________ be slinking
But all he (12)________ is squirm
My baby (13)__________ is just a worm

My friend and I made a (14)__________ cage
From chicken wire and sticks
We worked all (15)______________ on it
This news just makes us sick

Cause that cage won't keep a worm in
Never could, never will
A worm'll squirm (16)__________ through it
And disappear into the silt

My friend, he's got a fishin' pole
and a look I've never seen
And he (17)__________ to take him fishin'

My baby (19)__________ is just a worm
The vet just checked, it is confirmed
By now he (20)____________ be slitherin' around
But all he does is squirm
